Good Afternoon,
Last night I was awake until mast midnight again. However, once I was asleep, I had the most enjoyable night for a very long time. The dream I had was a recurring one, but again it had something very different happening amongst it. See what you think of this.
Friday 12th November 2021
I was in the building of my first ever full time employment job. Even though I was in the call centre, I was doing the job of my last role. I was doing a quote for a man over the phone. The screen was not showing all the pages I needed in order to complete my quote. I had to keep apologising to the man that there was an issue with my system and I had to put him on hold a few times. Then the call cut off but somehow he still managed to get back through to me. His surname was the same surname as my family name. I tried to pick up from where I left off. Then I saw my mum and dad were sat on desks next to me. My dad kept trying to put me off and cracking jokes and saying things to screw up my lines. I was so angry. At one point I got up because I swear I was going to 'lump him one'. Then I heard the man speak in the same language as my mum. I was able to understand some of it. Then he said he was eating baklava and making these sounds down the phone. I still couldn't complete the quote because there was no claim screen and I tried to go off memory. I spoke to my manager and then offered the man a call back. Next thing his wife was standing in front of me and she was holding a plate that had some huge pieces of baklava on it. Then I took one and ate it.
I dream a lot about previous and past employment. Really would like to know why this keeps happening. However, this one is a first I believe where I couldn't do my job properly because the system wasn't working as it should. I have never had a dream where my dad has put me off my work before. The funny thing is, after I woke up, I was sooooo hungry! I felt like I had been moving my mouth as if I was eating the baklava in my sleep. All I wanted was baklava!!
