Dream Diary - 6/10/17

Good morning! I was awake from about 2am to 5am, fell back to sleep and have just woken up! Oh my God do I feel tired. I feel like I need some tape to hold my eyelids back. Plus it’s very grey and dreary outside. Feels like a Sunday rather than a Saturday!

Hope you enjoy what I have in store for you. It’s a weird one for sure!

Friday 6th October

First of all I dreamed of my husband having a flat. It was situated in a lovely beach resort. We were parking in the residents bay and had to visit the flat for an inspection to make sure all was ok. The flat was in a block and his was on the top floor. All the flats had oval bay windows that was facing the seafront, apart from the bottom one. The bottom window was bricked up. The block of flats were about 100 feet away from a pebble beach. You could see the waves of the see crashing onto the stones. As we walked into the flat we noticed there was an issue with one of the plug sockets. I think it was hanging off the wall. There were quite a few workmen in the building and we asked one of them to come and have a look. The man who walked in looked like an estate agent. All suited and booted. He had a face like a bulldog chewing a wasp. He looked at the plug socket and said there was no problem. We were not happy with his attitude. It was pretty obvious we have problem here! I told him I wanted a second opinion and then another man turned up. He looked like the man for the job. A proper workman. He had a blue hard hat on, worn jeans, checked shirt and a high vis jacket on. He took one look and said he will sort it out now. He got on his hands and knees and started to fix what needed doing. Great job Bob The Buider!!

Secondly I dreamed I was playing Pokémon. I was going around catching these funny little creatures. I then found myself in a room with a few other people. There was a huge old fashioned sewing machine. It was a puzzle that had to be put together. Like one of those puzzles you would find in an escape the room games. The machine was very antique looking, there were wooden bits, gold bits, lots of screws too. Firstly I found a couple of gold rectangle plates. These had to be slid into place on the front righthand side of the machine. Nothing happened. I was looking at it for more clues. The front lefthand side had some writing on it. After a close inspection I noticed it had Arabic writing on it. ’What could this mean?’ I was stumped! A man came up to help me. He said ”There must be more to this than meets the eye.” ’Well, yes! Inspector Clueso!’ He went away and left me to it. I found a long sharp metal object, like a giant needle. I drew a long line on the desk that the machine was on and then I saw the cotton thread started to weave its way through parts of the machine. I was getting somewhere! As I was drawing the lines, I felt like someone was drawing on my head at the same time. It didn’t hurt. In fact, it felt rather nice. After I finished drawing and the sewing machine was threaded, it started to work. The Arabic writing was being sewn into some fabric in a cross stitch pattern. I was well chuffed I got it working. Then I saw in a mirror what was going on with my head. Someone had put my hair in braids on the top of my head. Then I saw an Indian man over my shoulder in the reflection of the mirror. He had a wide cheesy smile on his face as if he was waiting for my approval. It was him who had put my hair in braids.

Lastly, I dreamt I was on the train with my old school friend Michael Mackay. We were just having a general chit chat and then I asked him about his occupation. He said he was an owner of a taxi firm. He said I should have known this because he had arranged a taxi for me before. I vaguely remember him doing this in a previous dream months ago. I always thought he was an electrician. As we were talking I realised I had missed my stop. We had got off the train at the next station. When we got off the train I saw a couple of pubs. I thought we were going to go to one for a drink, but we just walked past them. Then I saw a cat. I thought it was my cat. I picked him up for a cuddle and then I realise he wasn’t mine, just similar looking. His nose was different for a start. After I put the cat down, I was walking along with Michael and my budgie was in my hand. I had my budgie when I was very young, like 9 years old or so. I had to say goodbye to her a few years later because she wasn’t very well. My budgie was called Daisy. She was bright yellow with an olive green breast and her wings had a black wavy pattern. I was telling Michael how I love having her perched on my forefinger, but I couldn’t do it now as she would fly away. I held Daisy in my hand, cradling her. It was lovely. As we continued to walk and talk, I realised my hand was empty and she had flown away! I was sad.

So there we are Steemers, another dream brought to you by the over active mind of Platinum-blue. I hope you enjoyed it. Hope you enjoy reading my other dreams too.
