Blog #172: The Filipino Wrap

Happy Wednesday Hivers!

Last Monday, I went to a quick adventure to Casaroro Falls. After the activity, I felt exhausted and wanted to rest before returning back home. There is a restuarant named Limottakna View Deck that is situated near the entrance area going to Casaroro Falls and my new found friend suggested that we eat first before leaving the place. Since I wanted to try their food, I immediately nodded my head and replied "sure".

It was not her first time dining at Limottakna View Deck so she immediately order her favorite food without checking the menu. She ordered Filipino Wrap with sisig filling.

As I checked their menu, the Filipino Wrap caught my attention. I haven't heard, seen or tasted that food yet. So I ordered 1 filipino wrap with vegetable filling for myself and adobo filling for my tour guide.

While waiting for our order, we talked random topics including hive. She was interested on hive, she asked me to educate her about hive. I was happy of how she expressed interest to learn about hive blogging, the blockchain and the cryptocurrency. In fact, after that meeting she immediately created her hive account. She is now on the process of making her introductory post.

After less than 20 minutes, I saw the waitress coming with our foods on her hands. As she came closer, I was drooling as I was excited to try the Filipino Wrap with vegetable filling. I smelled the aroma of the foods as she laid it on the table.

If you don't know I'm a vegetable eater. I like to eat raw and cooked vegetables, that's the reason why I ordered filipino wrap with vegetable filling.

Before I eat, I checked first what they put inside. It contains thin slices of carrots; cucumber; and red onion with cooked rice and one whole leaf of lettuce.

There were 2 types of sauces they served. The spicy and unspicy. I don't know the name of the sauces. The one that is color brown was too spicy but it was so delicious when combined it with the food. But if you can't tolerate the spicy, you can dip your food in the unspicy sauce.

The 1 piece of filipino wrap is big and it already made your stomach full. But since we enjoyed talking anything over the scrumptious food the three of us were able to finish our food.

As we checked the time, it was already past 5:00 in the afternoon so we decided to leave the place. That was my experience at Limottakna View Deck.

Thank you for reading and see you on my next blog. Cheers!
