POB Word of the Week : Bizarre #006

IMPORTANT GUIDELINE CHANGES THIS WEEK MUST READ. DON'T GET DISQUALIFIED AND CRY TO ME. FIRST WARNING.

Slightly jarring, but necessary.

Did anyone else notice that #pob-wotw is #9 on the POB front-end tag list? What about the 30+ entries this week? Shit's getting serious ladies and gents.

There is a change this week for the word "Bizarre" that everyone needs to be aware of.

If you comment on any #pob-wotw post this week, you are automatically disqualified. SECOND WARNING.

I go into the "why", in this post here. That post is also valuable because it has the Merit System that I'll be using to grade the posts from this week.

You can reply to people who comment on your post who are not taking part in the WOTW, but if you reply to someone who is (even though they're DQ), you'll be disqualified.

With that out of the way, and hopefully everyone well aware... let's see who the winners are this week...

There is no feedback this week (haven't found the time) and I've also done a mash-up between post quality and engagement for the winners, don't like it? meh.

We have a new word each week that members of the community can share their thoughts about in a post.

Any form of content is encouraged, whether short or long-form writing, poetic, artistic, music or voice, or any other method you can develop.

The guidelines for entry to the contest are as follows;

This is the first week that I'll be testing out the Merit System for the contest. I hope that it provides a more balanced way of judging the content published.

I'll share any changes to the system in the comments below as the week goes on (I plan to make none at all, but it does need some flexibility in this early stage).

You can comment on this post and you will not be disqualified from this weeks contest.

Starting from next week's winners, at least 50% of your winnings from the contest must be staked, otherwise, you will be out of the runnings to win for 4 weeks.

(I'd rather my earnings were not sold to @onealfa and were used to help build a stronger "middle class" of POB members ;))

Good luck to all with this week's word. I'll not see you in the comments as usual.
