Greetings dear Hive.blog community, today I bring you another entry to the @Splinterlands contest, this time I chose a character of the genre or race earth, first time I choose this type of cards, it occurred to me not only to make an adaptation of the character, but to make a humanization of it, for that I selected the card "NECTAR QUEEN" being this an animated version of a bee, for that reason and following the basis of my main idea, I redesigned it completely and turned it into a beautiful and seductive bee girl.

I must say that I really enjoyed doing this project, since it is a new style of drawing for me, besides I dedicated a lot of time and love to it.

Next I show you the step by step of the development of the illustration, I hope you like it.

Saludos querida comunidad de Hive.blog, hoy les traigo otra entrada al concurso de @Splinterlands, en esta ocasión elegí a un personaje del género o raza tierra, primera vez que elijo este tipo de cartas, se me ocurrió no solo realizar una adaptación del personaje, sino realizar una humanización del mismo, para eso seleccione la carta de “NECTAR QUEEN” siendo esta una versión animada de una abeja, por tal motivo y siguiendo la base de mi idea principal, la rediseñe completamente y la convertí en una hermosa y seductora chica abeja.

Debo decir que disfrute mucho realizar este proyecto, ya que es un estilo de dibujo nuevo para mí, además de que le dedique bastante tiempo y cariño al mismo.

Drawing development / Desarrollo ✏️

Taking as a reference the photo that was presented, I made a humanization of the character, adapting to a normal person certain animated and fantasy details that characterizes the original character, such as the insect eyes, antennae, wings and his jaw, each designed and developed in parts to facilitate the work.

Tomando como referencia la foto que se presentó, realice una humanización del personaje, adaptando a una persona normal ciertos detalles animados y fantasiosos que caracteriza al personaje original, como por ejemplo, los ojos de insecto, las antenas, alas y su mandíbula, cada uno diseñado y desarrollado por partes para facilitar el trabajo.

First I made a sketch of a beautiful woman, with a perspective of ¾, already satisfied with the result I set out to adapt certain features that characterize a bee. Once this was done, I went on to develop the "human" part of the character, I directly applied basic tones to the skin and defined some features of the face.

Primeramente realice el boceto de una hermosa mujer, con una perspectiva de ¾, ya satisfecho con el resultado me propuse a adaptarle ciertos rasgos que caracterizan a una abeja. Una vez hecho esto, pase a desarrollar la parte de “humana” del personaje, directamente aplique tonalidades básicas a la piel y define algunos rasgos del rostro.

For the next steps I set out to develop the other elements that make up the work, I started first with the hair using orange and yellow tones to simulate a little the appearance of honey, also in this step I designed the bee's eyes, antennae and mouth tweezers.

Para los siguientes pasos me propuse a desarrollar los otros elementos que componen la obra, empecé primero con el cabello usando tonalidades naranjas y amarillas para simular un poco el aspecto de la miel, también en este paso diseñe los ojos de la abeja, las antenas y las pinzas de la boca.

In this step I developed the wings and the girl's clothes, besides that I started to vary a little more the tonality of her skin, adding some shadows and shines to it.

En este paso toco desarrollar las alas y la vestimenta de la chica, además de eso empecé a variar un poco más las tonalidad de su piel, colocándole algo de sombras y brillos a la misma.

To finish, I detailed even more the facial features, applying glitter to the eyes, mouth and nose, besides that I placed some spots on the skin to simulate freckles. For the background I used the isometric ruler tool to help me to draw perfect hexagons, with these hexagons I built the beehive, which I drew with different shades of orange to simulate honey inside. And I also drew some honey dripping in the foreground.

Para finalizar, detalle aún más las facciones del rostro, aplicándole brillos a los ojos, boca y nariz, además de eso coloque algunas manchas en la piel para simular pecas. Para el fondo use la herramienta de regla isométrica para ayudarme a dibujar hexágonos perfectos, con estos hexágonos arme la colmena, la cual dibuje con diferentes tonalidades de naranjas para simular miel en su interior. Y dibuje también un poco de miel escurriéndose en primer plano.
