APPLICATION FOR THE NEWBIES INITIATIVE
I come bearing warm greetings to everyone. Earlier this month I saw a post from @iskafan urging newbies to join the new edition of #newbies-initiative. That was my first time of hearing about the initiative, therefore I decided to do a little digging, joined their discord server and discovered that the newbies-initiative has been on the platform for a while now.

On the Smile discord server, I also saw a post from @starstrings01 who further explained and gave the key points on how the application post should look. I really appreciate him for this, because he made it easier for me to make my entry. It's been a week or more since all these happened, I'm sure some would wonder why it took so long to finally get my application together. Truth is I almost felt like there were some forces that didn't want me to join the initiative, because I hurdled so many obstacles before finally make this entry.

The major challenge I had was discord, I have never used discord until now. First the application refused to install on my phone. Took a couple days to finally find the version suitable for my phone. Then there was the problem of creating an account. For some reasons they kept rejecting my account, I created like three accounts before it was finally stable. Then the Smile discord invite wasn't working lol. After clicking on accept invite, nothing would happen. If I didn't know the benefit of joining such an interesting initiative, I would have given up a long time ago. After finally joining the server, I contacted the pretty @projectmamabg. Funny enough, after requesting for my hive username, she went silent for some long scary hours. In those moments I actually thought she scanned my account and I wasn't qualified. It happened that the delay was caused by her little boy, who I'm sure is cute. Finally getting the badges gave me a great relief and I was like, what else is going to stop me from finally making my post.

Enough with the boring stuff. I am writing this to show my interest In being among the new intakes of the newbies-initiative. I would love to Join this because I am actually new to blogging and I believe I have so much to learn and there's no better place to learn than from an initiative created for that purpose and many more.
I want to learn how to make my posts standout from the rest. When I did a little research about the newbies-initiative, I bumbed into some posts from their previous participants and I must say, their posts clearly show that they passed through some serious training. I'd like to go through that training and work on my writing skills.
I also want to join this initiative because I'm positive that this newbies-initiative will expose my account to many people and make me a little more visible on the platform. Looking at my account, you will that I have a reputation of 52 and 38Hp. At this level, I need as much visibility as I can get. It doesn't feel so good dishing out something good and it ends up being seen by few people.

If you walk into my blog, you would feel like you walked into a movie theater, Because there are so many stories that would definitely keep you entertained for a while. I enjoy telling stories. Also I kinda just recently discovered cryptocurrency, therefore I plan on writing posts about my journey on crypto so far.
I can be a little talkative at times, therefore whenever I feel like blabbing my mouth on the platform, I see myself engaging in topics of discussion released by communities like #Ladiesofhive #silverbloggers #ecotrain and #motherhood.
