Hello from Ghana and hello to all the lovely and wonderful people on Hive.
To start I will first like to thank @abdulkahadgunu for his guidance to help secure an account and an opportunity to Hive. I welcome you all to my blog and below is my introductory post. This is my first post on Hive and I am looking forward in making new friends here.
I am Ekonatu Mukadas, which is a combination of a Gonja and Islamic name which given to me a week after I was born. Ekonatu is a Gonja name which in direct translation means “It met someone before meeting you”. This means whatever situation we are going through, there are others who have experienced that before you.
Mukadas is an Islamic name which means “sanctified”. So Ekonatu is my local name which my family members love to call me by but the name Mukadas is popularly known by many. There two name chosen for me are beautiful names and I love to be called by them.
I am currently a student at CK Tedam University of Technology and Applied Science studying Bsc. Computer Science. Why did I choose to study Computer Science? As a kid and growing up, I have always loved to solve problems and to find solutions to more challenges issues. This is the main reason my passion was to study computer science and here I am. Being an expert in Computer Science comes with a lot of benefits and could help the future a best place since we are in the era of computer.
I was born in a very peaceful country called Ghana which has a lot of tourist attractions sites. Examples are the various water falls in the country, wildlife parks and many more. Ghana has a lot of friendly and hardworking people and also a place that is welcomed by anyone.
It is worth introducing myself by saying I am an enthusiastic who loves to help people because I have the motive helping one another and being kind can help make this world a better place. I am someone who cares about people and always want friends, family and everyone around me to feel comfortable always.
WHO I AM
Learning
One of my important hobby is learning, I am very sure more people have the same hobby as mine which is learning. Learning always make us busy and a way of gaining more information and knowledge. Learning new ideas and facts is what I love to do most.
Watching movies
I am someone who spend most of my leisure time watching movies most especially action and animated movies. Anytime I hear of a new movie or series with a good rating, I try to find it to watch since I have friends who are into watching lots of movies and I won’t like anyone giving me spoilers before I watch the movie.
I also love to listen to music and to love. I actually don’t have a nice voice so all I love to listen to and to say are the raps and hip hop songs.
WHY I AM HERE
I was very excited when I was introduced to Hive by a friend of mine. As a person who has dreams of learning new things, Hive would be a place where I can achieve that by learning new ideas, facts and culture of other users on Hive platform. I am hoping to learn new culture, ideas and believes around the world just by visiting Hive on my phone. And I am also hoping to share some interesting ideas and some interest of my country Ghana to you all showing you how wonderful and beautiful the country is.
