Part II

King Cetace confined poor Galen to the depths of the Western region, where a terrible plague was punishing the population with death and sorrow. It was not long before Galen fell ill and died after a long struggle with the disease.

Shadow Fairy became so saddened that a dark, thick mist transcended into the forest making it impossible for men to see her face. The King upon seeing that Galen had died sent emissaries to hold a state funeral, but Shadow Fairy refused to participate in any funeral service, thus disregarding the Monarch's intentions.

That reaction disconcerted King Cetace so much that he went to the serpent, who was no longer in the confines of the forest where he had spoken to him a few days before, then an incessant light from the sky illuminated his face so much that he could not open his eyes and a voice that sounded like thunder split the earth beneath his feet into two parts.

Parte II

Rey Cetace confinó al pobre Galeno en las profundidades de la región del Oeste, donde una terrible peste castigaba a la población con la muerte y la pena. Poco tiempo tuvo que transcurrir para que Galeno enfermara y muriera tras una larga lucha con la enfermedad.

Hada de las sombras se entristeció tanto que una oscura y espesa neblina trascendió en el bosque haciendo que los hombres no pudieran ver su rostro. El Rey al ver que Galeno había muerto envío emisarios para celebrar un funeral de estado, pero Hada de las Sombras se negó a participar en cualquier servicio fúnebre, despreciando así las intenciones del Monarca.

Aquella reacción desconcertó tanto a Rey Cetace que afligido acudió a la serpiente, quién ya no estaba en los confines del bosque donde lo habla interpelado unos días atrás, entonces una luz incesante desde el cielo iluminó su cara tanto que no podía abrir los ojos y una voz que sonaba como un trueno hizo partir la tierra debajo de sus pies en 2 partes.

— Cetace! Mother Nature speaks to you, as you have not respected morals, good customs nor the natural balance of the planet then I will not respect your reign on earth either. You have acted with malice and malice aforethought, by sending Galen to die in the depths of the western earth and although you have been granted power over all the wealth of the earth you have gone in search of the possessions of those who have less than you.

— Forgive me Mother! I beg you, I have acted with disdain because of that wicked animal called the Serpent.

— There is no forgiveness I can grant you, until now humans have lived in perfect balance with nature until your arrival. Nations and peoples will remember your legacy when the earth dies irretrievably.

— ¡Cetace! Te habla la Madre Naturaleza, cómo no has respetado la moral, las buenas costumbres ni el equilibrio natural del planeta entonces yo tampoco respetaré tu reinado en la tierra. Has actuado con maldad y alevosía, al enviar a Galeno a morir en las profundidades de la tierra del Oeste y aunque se te ha otorgado potestad sobre toda la riqueza de la tierra has ido en busca de las posesiones de los que tienen menos que tú.

— ¡Perdóname Madre! Te lo ruego, he actuado con desdén por culpa de aquel malvado animal llamado Serpiente.

— No hay perdón que pueda otorgarte, hasta ahora los humanos han vivido en perfecto equilibrio con la naturaleza hasta tu llegada. Las naciones y los pueblos se acordarán de tu legado cuando la tierra muera irremediablemente.

King Cetace was instantly turned into a demon, who since then prowls the earth leaving in his wake destruction in the form of indiscriminate slashing and burning of forests, pollution of seas and rivers, indiscriminate hunting of animal species and anything else that can harm nature in any way.

After what happened with the King a long darkness covered the earth and immediately the deities that until then had remained united to the humans vanished from the earth erasing the memories of the mind of the living beings. For its part, the serpent was turned into a crawling animal that eats the dust wherever it passes and was condemned to possess poison and to cause pain to the descendants of Cetace.

Since then, the natural order of things has been broken because of man and his inability to watch over the balance of Mother Nature, putting his interests before those of the common good.

El Rey Cetace fue convertido al instante en un demonio, que desde entonces merodea la tierra dejando a su paso destrucción convertida en la tala y quema indiscriminada de los bosques, la contaminación de los mares y ríos, la caza indiscriminada de especies animales y todo aquello que pueda dañar la naturaleza de algún modo.

Después de que lo ocurrido con el Rey una larga oscuridad cubrió la tierra y de inmediato las deidades que hasta entonces habían permanecido unidas a los humanos se esfumaron de la tierra borrando los recuerdos de la mente de los seres vivos. Por su parte la serpiente, fue convertida en un animal rastrero que come el polvo por donde pasa y fue condenada a poseer veneno y a provocar dolor a los descendientes de Cetace.

Desde entonces el orden natural de las cosas ha estado roto por culpa del hombre y su incapacidad para velar por el equilibrio de la madre naturaleza anteponiendo sus intereses a los del bien común.
