In cities with huge skyscrapers, like New York, a look up is worthwhile every now and then when you walk through the streets with your camera - especially if you have a wide-angle lens with you. The following photo shows the original shot as it came out of my camera without any editing:
In Städten mit riesigen Wolkenkratzern, wie New York, ist ein Blick nach oben ab und zu lohnenswert, wenn man mit seiner Kamera durch die Straßen spaziert - besonders, wenn man ein Weitwinkelobjektiv dabei hat. Das folgende Foto zeigt die Originalaufnahme, wie sie ohne Bearbeitung aus meiner Kamera kam:
First I opened the photo in Lightroom, made some basic adjustments to the exposure, contrast and clarity and adjusted the colours to my taste. After that, the result looked like this:
Zuerst öffnete ich das Foto in Lightroom, nahm einige Grundeinstellungen, was die Belichtung, den Kontrast und die Klarheit betrifft vor und passte die Farben nach meinem Geschmack an. Danach sah das Ergebnis folgendermaßen aus:
Since the shot still seemed a bit too boring for me, I decided to edit it further in Photoshop. I stacked the shot three times and rotated the middle image by 180°. I also added a radial blur for the edges of the two lower layers.
Da die Aufnahme für mich noch etwas zu langweilig wirkte, entschloss ich mich, sie in Photoshop noch weiter zu bearbeiten. Ich legte die Aufnahme dreimal übereinander, wobei ich das mittler Bild um 180° gedreht habe. Außerdem fügte ich für die beiden unteren Ebenen einen radialen Weichzeichner an den Rändern hinzu.
At the end, I added a plane to have an eye-catcher as a central core element in the middle of the image.
Am Ende fügte ich noch das Flugzeug hinzu, um einen Blickfang als zentrales Kernelement in der Mitte des Bildes zu haben.
