excerpt from the previous episode

The two reptilians slowly walked out of the room, leaving me with this weird-looking fruit in my hands, I observed the fruit with a frown on my face, dreading the fact that I might have to eat this soft gooey thing but my growling stomach reminded me that this was my only option.

I hurriedly ate this strange but delicious food to my satisfaction but shortly afterward the satisfied look on my face was quenched by the realization of my captivity.

I took another look at the cavern walls, trying to plot any escape, the only opening I could observe was a small hole-like window on the side of the wall, The only draw-back was that this window was very high up, In fact, everything around me was way tall and above my reach, The walls, the doors and even this beings that held me captive.

I looked at this window for quite a while, the sunlight shining through it like rays of hope, I instinctively got up and decided to climb up at this wall, I just had to see what lies on the other side of the wall.

I quickly observed some small holes and contours on the rocky walls.

"I could probably use them to climb up to this widow, maybe I can even squeeze through... but what if I fall through the other side, what if the drop-down is deadly," I thought to myself.

I looked down at my long sock before suddenly getting a brilliant idea.

"I would just tie this sock on the ledge and secure myself" I smirked

My brother always said I had "sock madness" teasingly because I loved wearing rolls of long socks but the truth is I always had cold feet. Although I was not fond of my brother's frequent jests at me, the thought of reuniting with my brother was the only thing keeping me hopeful.

I took a deep breath, bracing myself for this daring endeavor, I leapt up in the air, digging my fingers into the first crevice I found, I could feel my limbs shaking as I mustered a great deal of strength.

I eventually got to the tip of this window, I took a slow peak through it and caught a glimpse of the other side but only saw a vast horizon of sky and howling winds.

Suddenly I heard a sound behind me and lost my footing, My whole body vibrated with a rush of pain as I hit the ground, I rolled over and saw another reptilian being had entered the room, He made a grunt as if he was making jest of me and my feeble attempts.

"Come now, Topat, The Eye wishes your presence" The alien spoke authoritatively.

I never knew what Topat or what this "Eye" meant but I could guess it wasn't anything good, I was led slowly in front of this tall being watching closely behind me, I could feel his gaze looking down on me as I feared the worse of this situation.

As we walked past the confinement area into an opening, I could hear whispers and mumbling of the alien creatures around me. The way they looked made me feel as though I was actually the alien amongst them.

We soon approached a stone door, I could sense some sort of reverence from the alien escorting me, He slowly opened the door and ushered me to the presence of the same Old reptile named Abin.

"Oh.. He must be the one they called the eye" I thought to myself.

I observed a very interesting object behind Abin as he sat cross-legged in front of it, The object glowed yellowish and emitted some sort of humming frequency.

"Have a seat, child" Abin spoke calmly towards me.
