Good Morning!

I have another dream for you. I’m sure the first part of my dream is to do with an event that happened yesterday. I found out one of my friends from another branch of where I used to work had handed in her notice and got herself another job. She told me there were only two people left and I know a branch of that size cannot cope with that, considering one is a part timer. Then I thought 'What would I do if they contacted me asking if I want to work for them? Would I want to go back?'

I dreamed I was in my old branch of where I used to work. I was sat in the shop floor, but rather than have our individual desks all dotted around the place, there was one big board room table in the middle of the floor. Around it everyone who got made redundant. Me, my manager, another manager from a closed branch and my male colleague. There was one other person who got transferred to another branch and she is currently employed. An announcement was made that there were vacancies in a branch that was in a different region to ours. We got asked if we wanted to apply for a position. My manager said he wasn’t interested in going back to work for the company. I was trying to weigh up all the pros and cons of going back. I thought long and hard and I said the only way I would go back was if they were to double my salary and pay travelling expenses. No one gave me an answer or even if it was possible to put forward such a request. I just remember my manager went out the back of the office for a cigarette and I asked him to hand one over so I could go and smoke with him. I don’t smoke in real life.

Secondly I dreamed I was walking in the City of London. I was walking round a shopping centre and I looked in one of the windows and I saw my football team. Arsenal Football Club. I had never seen any of the players in real life. They were sat on some black leather settees in a L shape. In the middle of the settees was a rectangular glass coffee table. It looked like they were getting ready for an interview or advertising something. I went into the room where they were. I saw Petr Cech, Laurent Koscielny, Mohamed Elneny and Alexis Sanchez amongst other players. I was gutted Olivier Giroud wasn’t there. He is my favourite! I asked Sanchez if it would be possible for a selfie with the team. He said ”Sure!” and he rounded up the players around me. I said I wasn’t ready for a photo as I had to touch up my make-up. I took out of my handbag my pressed powder and proceeded to pat it all over my face. It wasn’t going on right. The powder left a big lump on my cheekbone and I couldn’t get rid of it. No matter how much I rubbed it or try to pick it off with my nail. It wasn’t budging! Then I saw my eyebrows!!! You know that Wunderbrow stuff? Well, it looked like someone had drawn on another pair of eyebrows above my own natural ones. They were thick and dark and looked like slugs! They wouldn’t come off either! How could I look such a mess in front of my team!?!? I thought, ’Well nothing I can do about it now, I will just put on some lip gloss and hope for the best’. I took the lip gloss out of my bag. It was orange in colour and it was one of those high shine glosses. As I applied it, that went on thick too! It looked like a melted Jelly Baby. It wouldn’t stay put and just clumped in the middle of my lips. Attractive!

What do we make of this? If the second dream happened in real life, I would have died for sure! Just have to make sure I look my best if I ever do get the opportunity to see my team play and best of all do a meet and greet!
