This is another very summery looking donut. It’s got that crisp white icing with a yellow and green iced pattern and tiny crunchy sugar pieces. It looked very fresh and fruity next to the Raspberry Lemonade donut. As soon as I took my first bite, I got a smack in the mouth with the flavour of the passionfruit filling. Wow! It was so refreshing, fruity, tart and sweet! This combined with the Original Glazed donut was a delight. Perfect for a hot summers day.
I thought I would prefer the Raspberry Lemonade over the Passionfruit Party when I saw these advertised. Boy was I wrong. The Passionfruit Party was one of the best tasting donuts I’ve had in a very long time. I do love fruity donuts, but this one was something else. Never have I ever had a passionfruit donut. Whoever came up with this is a genius. I hope it stays around for a very long time. Even if it was just the whole of summer. I’d be very happy with that. Well done Krispy Kreme!!
