The air was electric. Sophie could feel the fine hairs on her arm tingling with static, rising up like soldiers standing to attention. She watched as separate strands of white light flowed and weaved around in front of them, eventually melding back together in the centre of the clearing, spiralling upwards and intensifying, as if drawing down light from the moon itself. -@strangegravy

Petal heaved a sigh of relief. He did not let prejudice cloud his vision. She reached for a leaf and then began to cast a spell. The moon up above seemed to bleed before the leaf transformed into a flower. The man recognized it as the plant of Loe. The life giving flower. Astonished, he watched this stranger feed his child the plant and minutes later, the wound closed up and color returned to the cheeks of his little boy. - @deraaa

My Beloved Dansi

Ahh... on a very peculiar night, I had carried Dansi with me for a stroll. She was feeling very restless and stuffy at home and so I took her out of the old house for a change of environment. I won't lie, i was very skeptical about taking her with me. I feared heavily for how the cold shores of the night might affect her health. But she insisted on her leaving and I could not deny her that wish. -@zeraton

From the very fabric of the dark a thousand tiny yellow pinpoints of light meshed, menacingly, into the scene ahead of him. He heard the low metallic clunk of steel-on-steel as the ants flooded the vista from all sides. Mechanical movement was barely discernible; he felt them coming at him with their vicious pincers ready to carry him into oblivion. His only hope was that he knew they were slow, steady, cunning, but slow. -@itsostylish

Eye of the Storm

My heart thumping furiously in my chest, I looked out the window once more and saw that we seemed to be surrounded by lightning strikes. The area surrounding the plane must have been charged with serious electricity. Thunder was roaring, even the soundproof windows could not keep the terrifying sounds out. -@bruno-kema

We tried to walk as far as we could away from our village alongside other villagers who escaped and while we did, my mother assured me that everything was going to be fine but seeing the despair in her eyes, you could see that she was unsure of what could come. -@khaleesii
