Q22 — What Would You Do As A SNAX Block Producer?

Our host @dragosroua has set an interesting question, but with a line of highly subjective proposals:

  • what hardware should I use?
  • how much time should I dedicate to technical maintenance?
  • how much time should I dedicate to maintaining normal relationships with other BPs?
  • how much time should I dedicate to campaigning for getting votes from regular users?
  • how much from my stake should be dedicated to promotion?

All this questions depend on the personal features of every block producer, his/hers IT knowledge, believe in the project and financial situation — which are all out of reach for the users to asses. There is one thing only that every block producer should be doing from the very start of this job: Primary concern should be establishing a price to SNAX.

Would you exchange SNAX for “Snax”? Just as the first block producers of Bitcoin had to offer some sum of the token for those legendary pizzas, block producers should give their offer to the community. I have to commend our @chrisaiki who has done it in this post:

@chrisaiki/proposal-for-a-p2p-steem-snax-exchange

He actually started a P2P exchange which could make SNAX convertible througs Steem, and that way to the wide World of crypto. He offered 1 Steem for 100 SNAX. But that was his good will. I accepted and send him 5000 SNAX for our first significant transaction, but he accepted only 100. Indeed, that should be the job for block producers. They are getting the largest amount of SNAX at the beginning, they have the most of interest in its price, and they should care about its value. Waiting for someone else to do it before you (and instead of you) is not a wise strategy. It really doesn’t matter if you have 5000 of nothing and 5,000,000 of nothing. If you want to have something, do what @chrisaiki has done — propose an exchange rate for SNAX and Steem. Establish an exchange at Steemit. Move the stone. Then, everything else will start moving…

Anyone interested to buy 5000 snax for 50 Steem?
