Donut Fans,
This is the last donut I had when I decided to get some donuts in for National Donut Day a week ago on Friday. As I had the Strawberry Sprinkles, I knew I had to get the Chocolate Sprinkles too.

I don’t normally go for rings, but I had four different ringed donuts for National Donut Day. This one looks again like the classic clip art donut. Perfectly round, that chocolate icing and the brightly coloured sprinkles on top. The donut base was Krispy Kreme’s Signature Ring which is smothered in chocolate icing and sprinkles. The chocolate had a lovely taste but it wasn’t a deep chocolate taste like you find in some of their other donuts. A nice classic chocolate donut.
Out of all the donuts I had for National Donut day, I would rank them in this order. The winner by far was the Passionfruit Party. Never had a passionfruit flavoured donut before and not only did it look good, it tasted so amazingly fresh and fruity. I really need to get another one in before it goes. Second would be Raspberry Lemonade. Another special summery donut. Definitely got the lemonade fizz and there was some raspberry flavour there too. Another refreshing donut. In third place I would say they Chocolate Sprinkles. A classic donut with chocolate and sprinkles. Not much more to say on that. Finally it would be Strawberry Sprinkles. A nice donut, but tasted like strawberry milkshake rather than strawberry fruit. I was very happy with my choices, but I’m definitely going to hit the shops for maybe two Passionfruit Party ones and a Raspberry Lemonade one. Just delightful!
