Afternoon Steemit!

Well it’s the first dream of December. Can you believe we are almost at the end of 2017? Where has the year gone? So I’ve started my christmas shopping, now I am indoors in the warmth with a drop of Brandy next to me telling you all about my dreams from last night.

1st December 2017

I dreamed I was in a jewellery store. I was looking at all the shiny diamonds. Well they do say diamonds are a girls best friend! I was looking at all the different types of jewellery and all the different styles. I was eyeing up the diamond rings and comparing them to mine. Then I was looking at the charm bracelets and the charms to go with them. I was in the store with my husband. I picked out a few charms I liked for my bracelet. The lady behind the counter was describing all the different ones to me. I wasn’t interested about their history or what they were about. I just wanted to see what they would look like all together. I asked her to put the charms on a rod so I could see them side by side. The lady started to irritate me and she didn’t understand what I was asking. Then I saw all my current charms stacked neatly beside each other on the display counter.

I dreamt I was at my old work and I was on the phone to a client who wanted to discuss his car insurance policy with me. He sounded a bit more older than middle aged and quite up himself. Before we said goodbye, he asked me to add his son to the policy. I said I will make a note. After the call had ended, I realised I needed all his sons credentials. I called the client back to ask for them. He was quite rude and asked me why I didn’t call him back on Saturday like he had asked. Well one, I wasn’t working Saturday and two, the message was for someone else. I explained this to him. He said I was being a ’jobs worth’ and that he wouldn’t do business with me again. Like I care!

Finally I dreamed I visited my optician. I was having an eye test. He asked me how my sight was doing after having laser eye surgery. I said my eyes were perfect after I had them done, but recently my sight has started to deteriorate. I said the perfect vision didn’t last anywhere near as expected. I said to him as well that I wasn’t happy with the nurse who had prepped me before surgery. He asked me who it was, but I couldn’t remember if I was unhappy with the nurse from eye surgery or breast surgery. My optician had disappeared and I was having a chin wag with the assistant. She seemed very lively and outgoing. I said to her I would like to go on a night out with her as she seems to be a lot of fun. She happily agreed!

There we have it. My dreams from the 1st of December. My old employment keeps appearing in my dreams lately as well as asking random women to go out on the tiles with me. I must be due a girls night soon… although the majority of my friends are pregnant. I don’t think they are likely to go out on a bender, do you?
