Afternoon Donut Fans,
I had been waiting ages to get my hands on Krispy Kreme’s Ice Cream inspired donuts. When I had my second jab, I decided that was the time to get the donuts in. I wanted them and they were the only thing that was going to perk me up. So I got a box of three. Here is the first one.*
Krispy Kreme Ice Cream Collection - Raspberry Ripple
”Fruity raspberry filling topped with brownie, raspberry pieces and a raspberry ripple drizzle. Only available until the 22nd August!”
This was a yummy flavoured ice cream inspired donut. The donut was ’jam packed’ with the raspberry jam filling. It was so rich in colour and rich in that fruity raspberry taste. I really liked the way this donut was designed. The white icing, the raspberry ripple drizzle and the little brownie pieces. I could have done with some bore brownie pieces on top as I didn’t get much flavour of brownie, but the icing and drizzle tasted just like raspberry ripple.
I would definitely have this donut again. Although Krispy Kreme do have their Raspberry Glaze on the menu, this one was something else. It tasted like a rich, up market donut and the taste was sensational. I better be quick if I want another one!
