Morning Steemit,

It’s such a cold, wet, miserable Monday morning. If there’s one thing I hate it’s being cold. Took me ages to get to sleep last night as the woman in the room next to me was constantly coughing and it really started to annoy me after a while. Then after I did manage to get to sleep. I woke up at 3:30am and couldn’t get back to sleep after that. I feel like it is going to be a long day today. Here is last night’s dream.

Sunday 10th December 2017

I dreamed I was at a ballroom dancing competition. There was a more than middle aged lady there. She was one of the dancers and she was being such a cow to the rest of the contestants. Bitching about them and saying she was better than all of them put together. Then she suggested that each of the contestants first initial from their name was going to be their points for the dances. The points were the numbers that matched up with the letters from a Scrabble board.

Then I dreamt I was at an arena and I was trying to get concert tickets. The man at the ticket desk said ”No sorry, tickets aren’t available”. He was a funny looking man. Very pale skin, ginger crew cut hair and freckles. He looked a bit geeky. I turned to my husband and said I need to get some food. Then the venue turned into a European football match. There were orange flags and orange bunting everywhere. I saw my husbands friend Gilles. He was in a crowd of people drinking beer out of plastic cups and cheering. I ended up on stage and I was doing a blind taste test. I ate cheese that I thought was blue and walnut. Even though I was blindfolded, I could see other people eat a slice of salami that was the size of a dinner plate. One of the guys said ”It was like eating a monkeys bum”. Nice!!!

Finally I dreamed I was looking at houses. The first house was owned by an old couple. The rooms were so small and it felt like they were stacked on top of each other. There was no room to move at all. Everything had patterns on it and it looked really chintzy. Definitely not my style. The next house felt like a rainforest. The walls were white and green and there was a big tree going up in the middle of the hallway. It did look quite Amazonian. The owners were people, but they didn’t look like people. They were ring tailed lemurs. They did speak English. It was very weird communicating with them. Lastly I was at my house and my builder friends Samuel and Joseph were there. They accidentally spilled blancmange pink paint all over my neighbours outside wall. It didn’t just cover the wall, it covered their grand kids pushchair too. Their daughter and boyfriend didn’t look impressed. Samuel and Joseph tried to fix the pushchair. Eventually they put a bit of plywood under the seat and strapped the baby to that!

Quite a few random dreams from last night. I know I’m always thinking about food during the day, now it seems I am thinking about food in my sleep as well. Was funny about looking round the different houses and the paint being splattered. If that happened in real like, I don’t think the parent’s would have taken the resolution so well. In regards to the numbers on the Scrabble pieces, I don’t play it and I don’t even like it! Still, what has that got to do with dancing??
