Donut Lovers,
Yesterday I wrote about Krispy Kreme’s Limited Edition Sticky Toffee donut. Today I have for you the Limited Edition Toffee Krispy. I had to see what this one was about, even though I wasn’t that overwhelmed when I saw another toffee donut. Here’s what I thought.

Ok so we have here a ring Krispy Kreme donut. It has a layer of crispy cereal and caramel coated in chocolate. Now I really thought this donut was going to be a Signature Ring covered in the crispy cereal, toffee and chocolate. I was wrong! The donut was more of a light bread texture rather than a donut. I was expecting to bite into the fluffy, sweet ring. I was wrong. The taste and texture was more like a finger bun. It was nice to have the chocolate, toffee and crispy cereal, but I wasn’t that bothered. I was a bit disappointed with this one.
I was right to have my whits about me with this donut. It wasn’t anything like what I was expecting. The topping was ok, but the donut was just a bit ’meh!’ Now what I did say yesterday with the Sticky Toffee was that it was better the second time round. So u know what I did today? I got myself another one in to see if I feel any different about it. I will tell you tomorrow!
