"Dad, do you know I can sing? I sang in school today and everyone loved it. " He said to Dad.
"Wow, that's nice. When are you singing again I would love to watch you sing" Dad replied concentrating in-between the newspaper he was reading and Danny.
"I can sing for you now, that's if you want"
Closing the newspaper and turning to fully focus on Danny. Dad agreed
"Ofcourse son, I would love that"
"Then you gotta buy my ticket"
"What ticket?"
"It's a private performance I'm about doing and no singer loves to sing without their fans buying a ticket" Danny implied stretching out his hand in a receiving way.
"But you asked to perform for me"
"Yes only if you buy my ticket" - @kingobonnaya

Oh yes, it wasn't until Hughie had heard the loud sounding cheer of the crowd which surrounded him, that the finally realized that the concert had stopped.

What? What's everyone cheering about? Why did the orchestra stop playing?

Hughie said in confusion as the crowd continued cheering:

He's a fortune teller! He saw the future!

Said a giraffe from the crowd

No, he's a wizard. He used his magic to stop the arrow!

Said a wolf. And finally

No, no! You are all wrong! He's a wise man! A very wise man!- @zeraton

>knew I would miss this place. I would miss the shiny golden sky, or the endless plains of soft clouds to step on, or the normal-sized storks who constantly flew around making their precious hilarious rapid-fire clucks that Leo had always said sounded like the firing of a machine gun.

Oh, how I missed my brother Leo too. But as my older brother, he had already been born, and was waiting for me on Earth too. I’d just have to face a fear and get my life started.

I let go of Grandma and I said, “Goodbye,” - @restcity

The shop is relatively quiet and he stands out in the small crowd. Even his name ... Sherman - is enigmatic in itself.
He is very American, his personality larger than life. But he is also different. A gentleman of few words. I somehow sense in those introductory moments, that within a few years, the diminutive and demure figure before me, will give way to a tall, dark, and handsome companion, forever reaching for the stars, destined to tower above his peers. He just needs a bit of love and attention I muse, and I am more than happy to oblige.-@samsmith1971

The Pot of Gold!

She followed his eyes towards the wall by the side of the alley, there at the bottom of the wall was a black pot. She looked at it for a second, wondering what had him so engrossed in it.

“Baby, that is just a pot.”

“Yeah, but on St. Patrick’s day? Hell no! I bet you that is the pot of gold.”

“What?” She was genuinely shocked, “how old are you? Five? You do know that the story of the pot of gold is just… a story, right?”

“I do not know for sure, and honestly, neither do you. What if that pot is full of gold? I won’t have to go to work tomorrow or ever.” - @bruno-kema
