Picture: RV park in Sasbachwalden (Black Forest)

In my blog, I write about places with RV parks that I used to stay in a van during my travels.

This post is a collection of my visited places, which I update when new, like a table of contents.

@vanje/1-wohnmobil-stellplatz-talaue-beim

The RV park is a free parking space for 8 RVs for a maximum stay of 48 hours. The pitches are 6.50 x 3.50m, so parking my 6.40m motorhome took some time. Later, another 8m motorhome arrived and also found a spot. In the morning some people had problems with the electricity connection. A city employee who was called over was able to quickly solve the problem. The use is possible all year round day and night. The center, the monastery, the Deep lake natural outdoor pool and a children's playground are within walking distance. There are designated hiking trails and bike paths.

@vanje/2-wohnmobilstellplatz-siebentaeler-therme-bad

The RV park Siebentäler Therme is chargeable for 9 motorhomes and is located outside Bad Herrenalb. The site is level and asphalted but slightly sloping to the front. Electricity, supply and waste disposal are currently free of charge. Payment is made at the cash desk in the Therme. A visitor's tax of 2.60 euros/per adult is added to the fee of 9 euros. For this you get a Konus card, with which you can use bus and train in the Black Forest free of charge. WLan is free of charge. A playground for children is right next door. Showers can be taken in the spa for 2 euros. When using the RV park you get a 10% discount for the spa. The center is only a few minutes away.

@vanje/3-wohnmobilstellplatz-kraichtal-rv-park

I find the pitch idyllic. Right next to the site is a paddock and my breakfast was accompanied by the snorting of the horses. The site is located in nature and is very quiet. However, the access road is somewhat narrow and steep.

@vanje/4-wohnmobilstellplatz-am-schwimmbad-gernsbach

The approach to the RV park is steep and narrow. A supply of fresh water or disposal of the gray water or the cassette toilet is not possible. A sign points out that you can use a paid pitch nearby for this. Electricity is available for five campers and costs 1 euro/12 hours. However, due to the size of the site, more than 5 motorhomes can find enough space even over 8m. There are designated biking and hiking trails. 100m away is an outdoor swimming pool. For children there is a playground adjacent.
