And so, one day, he walked towards Emilia’s house, pretending to be passing by. There he saw her, watering her roses in blooms of pink, white, and red while in her hanging brown blouse and cream, ankle-length skirt. The color of her hair warmed Damian’s heart as if he was in her embrace. Her face was as radiant as the sunburst radiating inexplicable beauty, making the fist-size organ in his chest beat erratically as if he would collapse anytime.- @idlemind

Tea. She thought that was always her meditation, it acted as a replacement for her medication. She shuffled to put on the kettle and while she waited for the satisfying whistle, she turned the radio on to listen to something, the news, perhaps. That was usually distracting, particularly these days with so much power at the hands of insanity, but instead a song sang out. Weird, weird…how coincidental, it was her song, hers and Gary’s. She turned up the sound; realizing, without a care for the disturbance, that it was now too loud for her neighbors’ comfort.- @itsostylish

Starfield by @litguru

THe smiles and sit backs with a look of relief. He puts the gun on the dashboard as he brings up another diagram.
“There’s more,” he says. “In your presentation, you argued that they don’t have a word for War, presumably they are so advanced they have eliminated it altogether, or perhaps they never had it to begin with. A truly peaceful alien race with no concept of war. Like their message says, they come in peace. That might be true, if the speed of sound was the same at all frequencies like Earth, but when you take into account that there are two speeds of sound in their planet, the opposite is the case.”- @litguru

Ndudim on the other hand had graduated with flying colors and returned to their community to fulfill his father's wish. He was a calm and calculative guy who wanted to make a name for himself unlike Ezeofor, his brother. Who believed that what belongs to his father is solely his as the first son of the family.

Their father Mr Odogwu on his death bed had his lawyer draft a will for him, and had given it to his junior brother Mr Akuoma to hold and read to his son's after he was no more. He has foresight that sharing his properties might be a thorn in the flesh between his son's. So he planned to avert the crisis before it happened. - @kingobonnaya

Mama Mosa was sleeping in her rocking chair. The first thing I did was to open up the curtains to let the light get in. It was early morning. I shouted to Mama Mosa. She was sensitive to that. Mama Mosa was angry and she told me to stop screaming, but I shouted “I want to be free, I want my youth back” suddenly Mama Mosa started to get weak, because I was from a higher frequency, and the sound of my shouts echoed in the room and made it tremble. She was helpless, so I dragged her to the other side and she couldn’t bear it, she was on fire until she turned into ashes, only her ring remained and the blue energy transferred to my body with her being gone. All the energy she stole got back to their owners and the other girls who were there got back their beauty and youth.- @lenaspiritual

"Look you can’t go through life alone; you need some human interaction. What if you don't have to leave your house? What if the friend comes to you? Will that work for you?"

"What's the deal with friends? why can’t we go through life alone. I'm okay. I'm o-okay. I accepted long time back that I can't be normal. I've built a busy life with work, lots of TV and reading books."

The therapist gave a slight smile "I won't push you but maybe start seeing out your window, remove the curtains, it's like watching TV. Maybe you'll find someone interesting that sparks your notice." - @diebitch

A fire

I lost count of how many days I've been here, on my 1000th day, I gave in to the love that had been at my doorstep since the first day I got here and I let it consume me. Now as I draw my last breaths, I wish I had let this love take over me from the second my feet reached the shores of this deserted island.

I don't remember a lot from my life before I got here, but I do remember how I got here. It had been a much-anticipated ship cruise to a vacation resort with my classmates. I never wanted to go because I never fit in with them. I never fit in anywhere. - @young-boss-karin
