Letter From a Glass

As I moved in high spirits as though my soul was going to erupt from my body. I felt the cold stares of the glass statues surrounding me on that stage. Suddenly I felt the cold run down my spine. Their eyes were trying to say something but it was too late for me. All I could do in that moment was flashback to weeks before the event. When I thought fortune shone on me.- @kei2

Then she read the coffee cup.
“Oh, I see a big tree and a big snake around it. I see a creature whose body is a half-bird and half man who has a knife and coming from behind to a female human who is shorter than her and there are lots of birds around them. I also see a pregnant woman inside a waxing moon” she said while getting surprised at what she saw. She interpreted them as she was getting a wish fulfilled because of a fortunate circumstance but some suffering is involved. - @lenaspiritual

The feeling of regret overshadowed him. He had gone too far to turn back on the journey, he may not even survive it left with no food and water. "It's better that I die trying than go back to my life of poverty or die trying to give up," he said. A few minutes later, he saw the last piece buried in the sand where he was sitting, he smiled broadly, "the gods are with me" he said. He gathered it and placed it on the map , shocked at what he saw. The small piece of paper that contained his future was at the same spot where the dust storm had covered him, he had only walked 10km in vain, but he was happy to finally know the spot. -@dwixer

Still confused I began the five minutes walk to the train station, and on my way there just at the entrance there was an old man begging which was also weird as there were usually no beggars this early in the morning. I stopped by to give him some money when she suddenly grabbed my hand and pulled me close to her. Surprised by the strength in his arms, I couldn't resist as she put her mouth close to my ears and whispered the words A DREAMER IS CHOSEN.- @hazmat

Fortune Thief

She brushes through the inside of her purse and brings out a huge wad of naira notes, sending across the man who sat on his "magic mat". The soothsayer smiled thankful at her but she didn't reply with any expression. Raged at heart, she was willing to find whoever the thief was and eliminate her. Different forms of thoughts flowed through her head as she looked at the wall that had various forms of paraphernalia on it. Finally, she reached a conclusion. As she bade the soothsayer goodbye, she thought of her plan of finding the "thief" in question. Maybe her father had had another child besides her.- @mrenglish

The Missing Ring

She went further to request for the best and strong birds in the kingdom who will volunteer for the secret mission.
She was wise enough to hide the details of the mission so as to prevent the spread of the news to all corners of the earth.
When she was done with the meeting, she instructed those that volunteered to meet her before the great mountain Everest.
As the big number of birds heard about the meeting point, they declined heavily from above 300 to just 2 which were Edet and Emen.
The 2Es were lovers from birth and have never departed from the sights of each other. - @daniella619
