Spooky Sprinkles is one of those donuts that come out every Halloween. It's Krispy Kreme's Signature Ring dipped in chocolate icing and covered in hundreds and thousands. The colours this year are purple, orange and green. The chocolate and the hundreds and thousands mixed with the Signature ring make this one hell of a sugary treat. Maybe a little bit too sweet for my liking, but I'm sure the little terrors would enjoy this a lot.
I do like this donut, even though it is very sweet. It's one of those donuts that is guaranteed to make a show for halloween and practically every event throughout the year. Sometimes I wish Krispy Kreme would come up with something new, rather than bring back the same donut year after year. For example, they could do a signature ring with green icing and strawberry laces. Just something a bit different and looks more Halloweeny. That's my opinion anyway. Still it was a nice donut to have. Overall my favourite Skreme was the Vampire Bat. Tastes great and it was something new brought to the table this year. My least favourite was the Jack o Lantern. It was meant to have a chocolate orange filling, but the filling was just awful and tasted fake. Not what I was expecting as this is another donut that seems to come round in every Krispy Kreme calendar. Please Krispy Kreme, can we have some new donuts next year and not have the Jack o Lantern and Spooky Sprinkles. Bored of them.
