This is Just To Say

In three years time, he will pick up a stone on another planet, look at the stars from this new and peculiar angle, and think she has forgotten him. He will remember her hair, her lips, but not the whole. It will be no surprise - he had spent his whole life making a series of decisions that will take him through many galaxies, but never towards her, and always towards the pursuit of science and discovery. Most other things would be forgotton, or tarnished with time, like an old mirror with it's silver backing worn.- @riverflows

At that moment, Dorian realised he had only got dressed the top half today and was standing in front of the camera when he should only be sat down. Sitting back down, Dorian could literally see the shock and silence on the client's face. Dave was for once lost for words. Dorian didn't know what to say or do next. - @mypathtofire

Trust me Senator, i have never failed before and won't ever fail. Money rules in politics and i know just how to use it. So, Victory is ours already, Bragged the Chief. And like our wise men said "He who pays the piper, dictates the tune", so just stay calm and prepare your swearing in speech.
They both laughed out loud.
That is good Chief. And its about time to pay the piper.
The Senator pulled open is desk drawer, took out his check book and signed off 60 million lacas, tore out the sheet and handed it over to the Chief.
The Chief smile. I will deliver as promised my Senator. No cause for alarm.- @assegai

His compliments made me smile. Eventually, he left to go catch some fish, but then the next day he came back to the same spot, this time with a poem for me. It turned out his name was Prafit, and he liked to catch catfish, an abundant sea creature in our part of the sea. He also wrote poems and stories. He said I was a great inspiration for his stories, and he came back to me regularly for advice and other means. He would occasionally ask me to sing, and I never would. I never EVER wanted him to fall under my love spell. Never.- @restcity

Attention Is Embarrassing!

Rick dropped the afghan, and grabbed the woman's ankles. He managed to get her into the living room, then stumbled backwards, coughing as if his lungs would come out. Once he regained some control, he shut the kitchen door, then resumed dragging the unconscious woman outside.
The screaming inside continued, and Rick ran back inside, going directly to the noise. Soon he was back on the steps of the front door, holding a toddler, perhaps two years old. He set the terrified child beside the woman, and she stirred.
"Jacob? Hush, baby, hush..." she whispered, trying to sit up. - @wrestlingdesires

When the wrong one loves you right!

"Do you love me?"
The words hit me so hard I choked. I was puzzled, nerves taut and my stomach in knots. The room was suddenly cold with a loud silence. My eyes fell to my hands and I placed them in-between my knees. For the first time I wished I had powers to disappear. I've always wanted to let her know how I felt about her but not this way, not with her in charge.
"Ben? Did you hear what I just asked?"
I nodded to her question, unsure of what to say. I inhaled a calming breath and slowly peeled my eyes off my hands, raising it to meet her gaze. - @zyzymena
