It's that time of the year when Krispy Kreme bring out their Christmas Donuts. I couldn't wait to get them in as the majority were different from what has been released over the previous years. The first one I am starting with is So Good Pud

I really did like the look of this donut. Of course it had to be a filled one to make it look like a Christmas Pudding. The donut was plump and it had a smooth chocolate icing on top with a soft fondant icing and holly decoration. I took a bite of the donut and it was a nice texture. All I was interested in was the filling and there was loads of it. The filling was a golden gingerbread colour. It was so smooth and it had so much flavour. It tasted like it was full of Christmas spice. Although the description is gingerbread and caramel, all I tasted was the flavour of Christmas pudding. It might have been the combination of the gingerbread and caramel that made me taste it this way, but to be honest. I couldn't careless what the ingredients were. All I know is this is one delicious and tasty donut that's full of the warmth of Christmas. Delicious!
As far as I know, Krispy Kreme have not done a Christmas Pudding donut and I have had their donuts for many many years. This is by far one of the best Christmas donuts I have ever had from them. I really hope this one makes a comeback next year. So nice to see a brand new flavour to their menu and they did it proud! I love this a lot Krispy Kreme!
