This was the third donut I had from Krispy Kreme's Christmas Collection. I have never seen a Christmas Tree donut before and I really couldn't wait to have this. It looked so good. I really hoped this one was going to taste as good as it looks too.

Love the shape of this donut and especially the flake poking out of the bottom to represent the trunk. The first thing I did was pull out the flake and eat it. Yum! That was good! I started to make my way on the main body of the tree. After a few mouthfuls I still hadn't got to any filling. 'Was this an empty donut?' I thought to myself. I was sure this was meant to have filling in it. There it was... the filling was only in the end part of the tree. I was gutted!! I can't actually remember whether the filling was in the top or the bottom part of the tree, but whatever side it was on, this was a big donut and to only have a small portion filled was despicable! The donut looked really nice with the green icing and the coloured decorations, but really, the inside was so bad. To top it all off, the inside was the same filling of a Lotus Boscoff, only less than half the amount than you would have got in a normal Lotus Biscoff donut. Very disappointed!
This donut was more style over substance. Looked great, disappointing to eat. I won't be buying one of these again. I honestly thought this was going to be one hell of a Christmas donut. It was terrible! Too much donut and definitely not enough filling!
