Here is the second donut I had that Krispy Kreme brought out at the start of this year. I really hoped this was going to be tasty compared to the Fudge Brownie Bliss. Here's what I thought. Enjoy!!

As with the Fudge Brownie Bliss, this was another one of Krispy Kreme's vegan friendly donuts. Again, I wouldn't have known it was vegan. The donut base was very good. I really liked the look of this donut. The caramel icing looked really tempting and then there was the design of dark chocolate. I started to make my way through this donut. I eventually got to a filling of smooth caramel. It was creamy as described and to me there was a hint of sourness too that I really liked. Then as that disappeared, I got to the chocolate filling. It tasted like the same chocolate that was in the Fudge Chocolate Brownie. I was disappointed that I got to that bit of the donut. I couldn't taste anymore caramel. My mouth was over taken by the taste of chocolate. It tasted more like dark chocolate too and I am not a fan of dark chocolate.
I didn't realise this donut had a double filling until I got to the centre. I honestly thought this was a caramel donut. I suppose the name should have given it away. I don't think I paid too much attention to the name, I just really liked the look of it. I think this donut might have tasted better if the two fillings were amalgamated into one. Again, this donut did disappoint me. I was gutted! I won't be having one of these again either.
Delightfully ruined my tastebuds.
