Sweet Things,
Here we are, the final donut from Krispy Kreme's Valentines range. I didn't get to taste this donut and I am absolutely gutted about that. Yes, I have had the other ones from the previous year, but not the orange one! I think I'm going to be very sad as I write this. One can only imagine what this would taste like.

Krispy Kreme - Orange You Sweet
"Zesty orange and sherbet flavour kreme filling, dipped in orange."
I saw this in the cabinets and the orange was a lovely shade. It wasn't bright and in your face and it wasn't too pale either. It looked just as good as the rest. This one and the lemon one brought a bit of sunshine to the cabinet. If this was anything like the other donuts then I know the donut would be fluffy and spongy and not dry or chewy. I imaging this one would be very similar to the lemon one that I did get to have last year. I think the orange zest would have been delicious against the sherbert kreme filling and I would expect this one to be right up there with the lemon one.
Really cannot believe I didn't get to try this donut. I don't think Krispy Kreme have ever done an orange fruit flavour one before, only chocolate and orange. I missed out big time. I hope they bring this back again next year, even if it means we have to have all the other hearts again too.
