This is a new donut from Krispy Kreme. I definitely haven't seen this in all the years I've had them. First things first. This is definitely an Easter donut with the three 'Mini Eggs' on top that's surrounded by a chocolate iced nest. Of course it's a must to pick off the eggs one by one and eat the, as you go. I did think they were going to be Cadbury's Mini Eggs. They certainly looked like them. It didn't have the Cadbury chocolate taste so I knew then it wasn't them. I was happy about the as what I did have was an exceptional little chocolate egg. The icing on top gave a nice finish too. The Happinest donut is a donut filled with chocolate brownie batter. This was so fluffy and chocolatey. It wasn't deep and rich like what's inside some of their other donuts. It was full of chocolate flavour and it wasn't at all bitter. Lovely chocolate.
I wasn't sure I was going to like this one as much as I did after seeing the description. I thought 'Here we are, another chocolate filled donut from Krispy Kreme!' Yes it was a chocolate filled donut, but as mentioned, it had the most delicious chocolate flavour and the texture was just 'Mmm!!' I loved this both by it's look and it's taste. I need to get another one in before it goes on Monday!
